Baguette French Toast

sliced baguette

Custard:
1 T melted butter
1 c- 1T milk
3 eggs
2 T honey
1/4 t salt

Whisk together custard ingredients and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 375*. Dip bread in custard allowing to soak for 30 seconds on each side. Let the excess drip off. Fry on a stove top like regular french toast. Place cooked slices on a cookie sheet and in a warm oven to further the caramelization.

Serve with vanilla syrup.
